- Dad has an appointment with Optum + Lakeside to discuss what assistance services are available to him - housework aide visits, Meals on Wheels, etc. I know he hates the entire notion that he needs to think about these things, so I'm really glad he's doing it. He's trying to reschedule the original appointment so I can be there, but if not, I'm going to be there via FaceTime. I need to be informed.
- As of Friday last week, he still hadn't heard from his specialist. I'm angry, and am seriously considering asking Dad for their name and then making a pointed phone call.
- We moved/unpacked more stuff over the weekend! Yeah, yeah, we've been in the house almost two years, but this is how things happen. All the boxes of books from the Stroppy One's old studio (which don't have a place to live currently, as he's using the eventual spare bedroom as a temporary studio until some remodeling happens)are now stacked against the far wall of the front room, which means the front room is almost entirely clear! We need to put contact paper on the shelves of the china hutch, and then the china and glassware can be unpacked. My hoped for goals are 1) actually have a Christmas tree this holiday season, and 2) buy my longed-for chaise lounge.
- The S2 finale of Interview with the Vampire was everything I'd hoped for. I love the original books, but in some ways I feel that the versions of events from the show are far superior. (Oh hai, Theatre de Vampires, Santiago especially, you make me clap my hands in glee.) The finale used, in different contexts, dialog from the books, which made me go all flaily hands.
- Interview with the Vampire season 3 has been confirmed, and it's going to be focused on things from The Vampire Lestat, including rock star Lestat. Yessss, give me my egotistical rock star vampire boyfriend. Yes.
- I'm thinking of getting my hair cut to just below my shoulder blades. I realize that is long for some people, but it won't be for me. But my hair is indeed changing texture to more wavy/curly, and getting some of the old length will help enhance that.
- I am tired a lot of the time. Part of that is, of course, my never-ending rounds of work meetings, but another part is ... ? Who knows. My appointment with the pulmonary specialist is in two weeks, so maybe figuring out what is going on with my breathing will help find answers as to why I'm always so damn exhausted.

Adding another voice agreeing that stress can make a person feel exhausted. So can later-in-life onset allergies.

2. COVID.
3. Menopause.
Definitely see the doctor about fatigue, but... *points*
Cutting the length of your hair will indeed help with the waves. It will also help with muscular/tension pain. I do mine in July or so every year now and having it shoulder-ish has made a HUGE difference with a number of things.

1) Stress.
2) Working 2 jobs. (Which, face it, dealing with your dad's medical stuff AND your job....*IS* 2 jobs.)
3) Peri/post menopause (because sleep/overheating issues.)
4) Neurodivergence issues can also come with sleep issues (I have them in spades...)
5) Sleep apnea (which needs a sleep study, some appts, and a CPAP machine to deal with)
If you've already dealt with #5 in the past and have a CPAP already, it might need adjusting.

Commiserations on the still-packed boxes. Some of ours were stacked against the iving room wall for seven years before we could make a place for the contents.
I hope you can find ways that work to lower your stress.

I hope you're able to find the right care for your own medical woes too.
