We started (finally!) watching Yellowjackets last night. It's a show about a girls' soccer team that were flying to the national tournament; their plane crashes somewhere in the Colorado Rockies, and they aren't found for 19 months. During those 19 months, they get seriously weird, plus cannibalism. The show interweaves scenes from those months plus what's going on with them in current day.
Needless to say, I love it. As we were starting the fourth episode, I said, "I hope this is on physical media. I need it". The Stroppy One grabbed his tablet to investigate, and it is! Kinda pricy, but on BluRay.
"So you feel you'll watch it more than once?" he asked.
"YES" I replied gleefully.
"Sometimes your taste in comfort media-"
"-Murderous women with a side of getting weird!"
"Yes, that. Sometimes it weirds me out".
What can I say? Women embracing their dark power speaks to my heart.
