Y'know what I miss? Having energy. There are days when I manage to work the day job and take a shower, and those two things leave me exhausted. I fondly remember having the energy to, oh, write. Or work on multiple craft projects.

I know, I know, chronic illness, migraines, moving to a new house, my career moving upward ... but I still miss being able to do more things.

BUT, I am going to the Vampire Ball in PDX this year, oh yes I am. I confirmed my availability with the organizer, and I'm back to my usual spot as emcee. Now I need to figure out what I'm going to wear, so I can give the Madwoman in the Attic enough lead time to make it.

EDITED TO ADD: So far this week (it being only Tuesday at the time of writing) I have played the roles of release/release communication manager, globalization lead, and accessibility lead. While dealing with an ongoing migraine.

Migraines suck big time. I had a good two decades where I got rid of them, but these past few years they have started to creep back into my life, and with rising intensity (I'm sensitive to weather fronts). You are doing the most you can do!

I am going to the Vampire Ball in PDX this year, oh yes I am.

Then I just might go.

And now I'm wondering what to wear, and who to go with.

While dealing with an ongoing migraine.

Uff da!

I'm thinking of the Vampire Ball myself, although there are plenty of competing events that weekend.

Sounds all too familiar. I'm so tired I can't catch up with everything that needs to be done, much less things I want to do. I live in overwhelm.
