Despite the ongoing migraine, I unpacked FOUR boxes and FOUR tubs in the bedroom yesterday! Worship me!  And then I fell onto the couch and didn't move much for a while.

I don't think I mentioned it previously: we bought a power recliner couch for the TV room, as we've been threatening to do for ... a while. Let's just say that. It took Miss Erzabet No Biting about 48 hours to realize that the sound of the recliner motor means POSSIBLE LAP OMG. It took Vlad about two days more.

Speaking of Vlad, I moved one of the new kitty cubby hole beds into my office so the kitties could hang out with me during the work day. But apparently I didn't check my office thoroughly enough yesterday, because I shut the door (as I always do when I'm not in there), and then didn't see Vlad for hours. He was happily snoozing away until he heard the rattle of kibble, and then made his location known. Note to self: be very thorough in looking for kitties before closing up my office.

Related to the bandom lyric of the title for this entry: Soooooo when we were doing the final push to pack up the old place, my breathing got wonky. My lungs felt tight, and I felt like I wasn't getting enough air. The Stroppy One went to the drugstore and got me a Primatene Mist inhaler, and that took care of things. Unfortunately, I've had to use it a few times here at the new house, which makes no sense. Is there such a thing as adult onset asthma? Because I've never had breathing issues before.

... oh wait. I bet this is a long COVID thing. Welp, I guess I'll add it to the list of things I need to talk to my doctor about.

Yes, it is possible to develop asthma as an adult. I know a couple of folks it's happened to. Hopefully that's not your problem.

The air quality has been off and on terrible lately

Yes, it's possible (happened to my mother), but also very likely a long COVID thing.

It's also possible there is mold (dried material) from the old house that came in with the boxes and that will dissipate when everything is done and the boxes are gone. I had some breathing difficulties when I was moving and cleaning stuff after the water heater disaster because some of the boxes had picked up mold. No recurrence since the remediation work finished and all the known to be affected cardboard was discarded.

This.

All sorts of crap is being stirred up from old house and in new, mold-dust-corpses-elephants-who knows what.

I have adult onset random short term asthma that just shows up sometimes. It hasn't shown up for a long time though, so that may be gone for me now. I dunno. I am keeping the inhaler just in case.

Might also be an air quality issue at the new house.

I got absolutely floored by adult onset asthma, but hopefully everyone else is right about air quality, dried matter, and so forth. I hope your breathing is better soon.

I bet this is a long COVID thing.

I won't bet against that. Eight days until botox, but I wish there were an end date for the breathing issue.

On another note, which reclining couch did you get? We need to replace ours soon and recliners sound fabulous!
