 My pink leather motorcycle jacket arrives today! Thanks to a Wilson Leather (remember them?) big sale plus 10% off as a new customer, I could justify spending the money. Especially since none of the resale sites had a pink leather jacket in my size at a reasonable price. No, resale sellers, I do not want any variation of "vegan" leather. 

So in between packing, I will be thinking about how I can fit "oh how wrong we were to think that immortality meant never dying" down one sleeve.

Right? The quotes I'm going to paint on the jacket besides that one (MCR lyric for the win!):

- She herself is a haunted house
- I know what kind of crazy I am (Hannibal reference, yay! But I don't know where I'm going to paint it.)

Eventually I want to get someone to paint a spinal column and shoulder blades on the back, but who knows when that will happen.

My college-era Wilson Leather (bought at a mall in a uni-town, natch) biker jacket is beat to hell, the lining is shattering, and the fold at the right cuff is worn away to show the interfacing, but it's still my biker jacket, and will last me until I die. It's armor, it's memories.

I think the real question is whether you will paint it on the INSIDE (facing you) of the sleeve or the OUTSIDE (facing everyone looking at you). Who do you want to read it?

That stuff is what the Stroppy One might call "naff". And it's environmentally yucky seeing as how it's made from petroleum. Leather will be a by-product as long as people eat meat.
