- Minim asked me if I wanted to go see The Invitation with her. YES, YES I DID. The broad outline of the plot is "Young woman who has no living family discovers she has a long-lost family who are absurdly rich. They fly her to England to meet her and take her to the wedding of some of their other very posh & rich friends. She falls for the handsome lord of the manor, and then things get ominous".
It's a vampire movie. It's a vampire movie wrapped in a modern-day gothic romance, with a side of references to Dracula. I AM THE TARGET MARKET, HELL YES. I kept clapping delightedly, and I am going to own this on physical media the minute it's available.

-After the movie, Minim came back to my house and helped me start on The Great Wardrobe Culling. (There will be a sale at some point in the future, but I'm not sure when.) I'm being pretty ruthless, and am even letting go of very fancy event clothing. For those that know me and my habits: we completely cleared the heap of petticoats and skirts AND the wardrobe it blocked.
That took ... 4 hours. That was the "only" area we went through, because it took 4 hours and I have only so much stamina right now. There is probably another 8-10 hours worth of sorting and culling that needs to be done on everything else, but yes, I am going through EVERYTHING.

Then there's the brush and surface wash the whole dang cribful of bears, check for moth damage, etc. At least two days' worth of correspondence I've been avoiding, more than a light cleaning of my bathroom. And finish the dingdong tarot project. It never ends.
