Call and set up a psych appointment, because this new nighttime medication regimen is NOT WORKING. Being awake until after 3am multiple nights a week is not okay.

... I wonder what advances have been made in sleeping meds. Guess I'll find out.

(Yes, I'm good about lights before bed and all "sleep hygiene" advice. None of that works when you have Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder, so fun.)

If you want, like, evidence, somewhere I've got the literature review that shows that there's no evidence that sleep hygiene crap works for any form of insomnia or parasomnia. I went and tracked it down after the last time a "sleep specialist" told me to try it again, even though it doesn't work for me and never has in the five times I've tried it. (I didn't go to a follow up with that asshole.)
