I got my COVID booster on Friday, yay!

I spent Saturday in excruciating pain, Sunday in slightly less pain, and today I get wiped out by any exertion. Like, getting out of a chair and going to the bathroom. Yes, I've tapped out of work except for one meeting that I can't skip.

Even with this reaction, omg I love science.

Jeebus! I hope that a worse reaction implies more protection.

Same, hit hard for 3 days. Hubby had a delayed reaction. Looking forward to the new vaccine mix in the fall that should help combat the Omicron variants.

when i go my booster my arm didn't hurt much until 8-ish hours later, then it really hurt. about 12 hours later i got the chills (not anything terrible, kind of like you went out in the fall without a jacket and regretted it), so i put on a long-sleeved shirt & sweat pants. when i went to bed that night i got warmer and thought about taking them off, but got another wave of lesser chills & kept them on. that repeated throughout the night. also my stomach felt kind of off, not nauseous exactly, but like it could lead to that. it didn't last long but repeated about another 6 times.

when i got up in the next morning the pain in my arm spread to my neck, ear & head all on the left side. i did that thing where you alternate between acetaminophen & ibuprofen which really helped the neck, ear & head. the arm was still hurting for another 36-ish hours, but not as much.

Not as bad as your reaction, our second booster reaction was a really sore upper arm. And I think we both took an extra nap.
