A question I asked on my Patreon:

"[ ... ] would you lovely people be interested in posts that are quick reviews of things? They would be short and probably stream-of-consciousness, not super-polished writing. But I have a tendency to treat myself to inexpensive plus-size clothing that could be part of a goth wardrobe, makeup, etc., and I certainly Have Thoughts about whatever products they are."

The responses were overwhelmingly positive, so this is a thing I will be doing. This is prompted in part by the flurry of "OH SHIT, I HAVE TO GO TO FRESNO AND LOOK LIKE A VAGUELY GOTH RESPONSIBLE PERSON AND ALL OF MY RESPONSIBLE GOTH PERSON CLOTHES ARE SLIGHTLY TOO SMALL NOW" browsing and shopping I did on Amazon. But I've also been makeup shopping and eyeing some things on ChicStar.com. So, short stream-of-consciousness reviews it is!

(Stax, I know you're going to give me the warning about wearing myself out. Believe me, that is never far from my mind.)

Oddly enough, I think this is a fantastic idea! And I am tickled that you have my voice in your head with that warning. Self care being important and all. ;)

I should tell you about the most amazing nail polish. It is made in small batches in Tacoma and holds up to a week in the field and it's supposedly less toxic. Also it sparkles.

Anytime there's a chance to bank up content that you can push out on the migraine days or the spine-misbehaving days (and so on) is a good thing.

I am probably biased because my brain resists being static even though routine is also super important. But lately I've been entering the world of "Stories" and "Reels" on FB/IG, and dropping in on the "Spaces" on Twitter, and I've never felt so bloody old trying to get the hang of something. It's really okay to just try and put something out there and see how it feels, and not get too hung up on what people want. (No one knows what they want.)
