My personal prediction of the heat wave came true in that a migraine came crashing in on Sunday afternoon, and I completely lost to it. Thankfully I thought ahead and warned my team at work on Friday that there was a strong chance I was going to be offline on Monday.

I discovered that Lotus Traders is not only having a sale on their Etsy shop, but that they have standing discounts for newsletter subscribers - spend over $130, get $20 off or something like that. Flowy lightweight rayon dresses, mmmm. I already have some dresses from them and LIVE in them at home during the summer, so I took advantage of the sale. Sure, they won't get here until August (they're made in/shipped from a small family business in Indonesia), but considering how the past Seattle summers have been, that's fine. Not to mention that they can rotate into my lea house wardrobe as layering pieces with waistcoats and such.

My only complaint with them is that they (like Holy Clothing) use an ethnic slur in a lot of their descriptions. :: sigh :: I included a note in my order pointing this out and asking them to reconsider using a slur as a synonym for romantic and free-spirited.

I hope you're feeling better! This weekend (and Monday) took a lot out of me, though I was not also suffering with a migraine!

Thanks for the tip on Lotus Traders. I have a dress from them that a friend gave to me a while ago, but for some reason I never explored their site for more. I just found at least three dresses on there that I would love, but the derogatory language puts me off from wanting to spend money there! Maybe I will message the seller about this too. I am glad you wrote to them about it!
