 Yesterday (May 22, 2021) was World Goth Day! I recorded a video, and retweeted a lot of people's gothy photos. 

That's about all I did, because my back decided to randomly go SPANG! as I was standing up from my desk, at a level of SPANG! that was slightly less than the same type as when I went to the hospital, but still really not good. I spent the rest of the day doped up and watching movies.

(An aside: I would be willing to ignore any plot quibbles and my loathing of the dude from Korn's voice for the movie of Queen of the Damned if they'd just made Stuart Townsend BLOND. His performance as bratty egotist rock star Lestat is spot-on.)

My back was terrible when I got up. It has since loosened since I've been moving around, but I'm still going to be on some serious meds today. Ugh. I had things I wanted to do. (When do I not?)

Ugh, that always triggers the panic of how bad will it be this time? I hope with drugs and heat things improve quickly. Enjoyed the video. :o )

My grump with Queen of the Damned is the producer/director/costumer insistence of dressing "older" vampires in retro clothing to oooh ahhh show how old they are (yeah gosh 1960's Haight Ashbury is so ancient yeah)

my Stuart Townsend grump is that Dorain and Mina should have been the leads in LXG and Connery should have been kicked to the curb.

I am sorry your back went SPANG! again. And of all the days for it to do so... :(
