I was a FOOL and weighed myself this morning.

It's not that I was particularly shocked by the number, because after a year + of decadent baked goods from the Madwoman of course I've gained weight, but.  :: sigh ::

HOWEVER, I'm not going to change my eating habits other than (still) working on eating more veggies. Try and get more gentle exercise as my pain issues permit. But I won't lie, the Body Image Demons immediately sprang up.

I'm not going to weigh myself again, nope nope nope. I'm going to stick to checking my measurements every few weeks. That is a MUCH better path for my issues.

If you ever feel the need for support from a sadomasochist in spandex, you know how to reach me.

this is why I do not even own a scale. I know they are Very Bad For Me. I do get weighed when I go in for appts, sometimes just me checking my weight myself sometimes them, and strangely my actual weight has been stable but I know damn well I have lost muscle and gained fat in the last 2 years. Dor and I have been discussing different exercise options for when we do not need to husband our spoons for things that MUST GET DONE OMG TODAY, and I have convinced her that we should find places we can go swing. There is a park about a mile from here that has adult sized swings.

Spring weather is so pretty and nice... and CRUEL TO US. Oh the pain. *hugs*

I am glad you are staying off the path of madness. I am doing my best to as well, but I am not very good at it... its such a smooooooth path.

Sleepy Santosha (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0ROkm_8Bjk0qOQ13XYOebg) is great for gentle exercise, if you have not heard of her! I'm planning on using her videos when I'm clear to bend a bit more.

*hugs, if wanted*

Is swimming an option for you? it's low-impact so might be less painful for you.
