I think I want a lipstick that's more fuchsia.

I also think I'm going to wear my hair down, and figure out how to tie and pin the crown onto my head. Hmmm. That's also going to require a test run.

alas, I think I need more time to pull myself together for VMB, so I will have to miss it. (the next 36 hours are pretty much booked up on my calendar already so I would have to scramble last minute on Saturday, and I just dont think that is how I want to do my first event.)

I am tempted to drop in on the virtual Vespertine. Am I right in visualizing it as a big zoom party with breakout rooms and streaming audio for dancing in one or more of them? I've never really attempted a zoom conference of more than a couple dozen people! I am more or less sofa-bound with a back injury so I probably can't do much dancing, but I'm fascinated by seeing everyone dressed up. I am realizing how much I missed the experience of the Vampire Ball this year!

You should attend the virtual Vespertine! It's going to be multiple Zoom meetings: a socializing room, the DJ room, the Performance hall, the Vendor hall, and a separate "door" room where I'm going to be. I think it's going to be a really great version of the event.
