Remember when I adhered to the idea of a "signature" perfume? Sure, it changed every few years, but once I settled on one, I stuck with it for a good long while? Yeah, whatever.

I am a target market, damn you Whisper Sisters!

Chocochouli is a blend of aged cacao (cocoa) absolute, aged patchouli, and Tunisian patchouli.

Oh Bela - the sweetest clove, the reddest rose, the tombiest of tombs, the most velvety of velvets, the blackest of capes.

Their GOTH CLUB 89 is one of my favorite perfumes, so ... yeah.

OMG. I loved "Goth Club 89," which smelled just like its namesake. And, I admit it, I love patchouli. Goth patchouli, that is!

Hang on, let me check my Whisper Sisters tag!

"Oh Bela Whisper Sisters - the sweetest clove, the reddest rose, the tombiest of tombs, the most velvety of velvets, the blackest of capes.

Whatever is in here is amazing. It's nothing identifiable, just spicy and thick and I don't know but damn I like it. After years of BPAL I can identify most of Beth's notes, but Darla uses a different source."

Which isn't useful as a review, exactly, but on my skin it doesn't amp any note particularly, instead being very well balanced.

To make sure I gave you accurate info (heh) I wore it this morning,

Very rose-heavy in the bottle, clove supporting. Fresh on skin, still more rose. After that, it's all up to your chemicals, but for me, it is 60% rose in the bottle.
