My Chemical Romance postponed their US tour, bumping all dates out to 2021.
I'm glad they did. The idea of being in a stadium full of people is, with no hyperbole, terrifying. And the second concert I have tickets for is in CA, so air travel would have been involved AHAHAHAHA OH G-D NO.
Miracle of miracles, Ticketmaster is honoring the tickets purchased for the 2020 dates, so the fandom doesn't have to lose their collective mind and tempers trying to survive the ticket purchasing Thunderdome process.

In other news, I am in the grips of Eldergoth Nostalgia again (a state I never really leave, yes, I know), and have pulled out my complete run of Carpe Noctem magazine. I miss print goth media. Digital magazines aren't the same. Yes, the content is more timely, but it's not the same.
... Oh right, we're heading into summer, which means my Eldergoth Nostalgia rises and I feel a terrible longing for the alternative shopping districts of yore.

In other other news, vintage perfuuuuume. I've been cycling through Opium, Chaos, and Angel recently, because apparently I'm in complete nostalgia mode. Bottles of Chaos (by Donna Karan) sell for terrifying amounts; I have my old one, but DAMN. There's an eBay item I have my eye on; if I can stick to my no-buy for a few weeks, then I will indulge. But I can't quite justify purchasing it outright.
Oooh, I should go put on some vintage Angel. I haven't been able to manage makeup very often, but a spritz of perfume? That I can do.

"I haven't been able to manage makeup very often, but a spritz of perfume? That I can do." I can relate to this! I don't wear makeup everyday anyway, but I am actually wearing perfume more often now that I am working from home. The only sensitivities I have to be mindful of are my own! So my hair is feral, but I smell good!
I have almost a full run of Carpe Noctem, one of the few gothic magazines I collected. I also really miss print media. There's "Faerie Magazine," and there is the occasional run of a witchy zine, but I can't think of any goth magazines in print for... years. And yes, the goth magazine in print might also have been purchases at a goth retail shop, not in a mall but downtown... back in the day!! Sigh!
