So, y'know, everyone.
I've had good luck with various CBD lotions, and my favorites WERE Painless and Neuro-Soothe by Resonant Botanicals. Were, because in late 2019 they brought out a new one called Painless X, and the Stroppy One went out and picked up a bottle for me today.
Today was was a really bad day for whatever is going on with my sciatic nerve, and the day I remembered that Jilli Pain Scale is not a 1:1 translation into Other People's Pain Scale.
("You're crying. How is that a 4? Did you forget your pain tolerance is freakishly high?!" quoth the Stroppy One.)
15 minutes after slathering on Painless X, the pain started to fade. An hour later, there was almost NO pain. This is the best I've felt since all of this started. It's about 8 hours since that application, and I'm only starting to feel some twinges. I'm putting more on before I go to bed; fingers crossed this is the magic bullet that lets me sleep through the pain meds wearing off overnight.
Seriously. Look at the Resonant Botanicals site (https://resonantbotanicals.com), get yourself some Painless X. If this stuff is made with blood magic and unholy pacts, I DON'T CARE AND DON'T WANT TO KNOW. It's a miracle.
