I was going to do goth upkeep - burgundy dye, bleach and pink the streaks - on Monday night, but fun hospital times obviously shot down that plan. Im probably not going to be able to do goth upkeep on my own for the near future, because if I had the Stroppy One help with application, there's no way I could rinse my hair. Bending over the sink or tub is a risk I don't want to take, and rinsing my hair from the crown down means rivulets of dye down my face and body, and thus sporting fuchsia-streaked skin for a while. Thanks, no.
So I need to find a salon that will let me bring my own dye. The stylist that I know who has let me do that before is still in the same location, which involves two flights of stairs to access the salon.
I wonder if any of the local cosmetology schools allow clients to bring their own dye? It's semi-permanent color, so there's no way a student could fuck it up unless they stuck the tint brush in my eye.

Like, not to be all "oh hai I has solutions" but this feels like it might be a problem that could be solved with a trip to the hardware store and that kind of problem is kind of my wheelhouse and I've got some time available this weekend.

While that's a lovely mental image, I can see why you don't want to go that route.
