You would think I couldn’t be bored while doped to the eyeballs on muscle relaxers and opioids. You would be wrong. I just want to work on a clothing alteration project, but some people think I shouldn’t be given scissors and needles right now. Hmmph.

There are few things as liable to bore as being on strong opiodes in my experience. One is restless and can't really read on the higher dose ones or do something useful like clean the way one can on lower doses. Boring.

Seriously, I have hated this every time I've had serious surgery. I feel for you.
