So anyway, I've got a pillowfort.io account, thanks to backing the Kickstarter. I suspect I'm going to be a lot more active there, fandom-wise, than in other places, because ... communities? With fic links and images? Something like that.
The Hannibal community over there has already proven its worth to me; a few users have linked to fic rec lists, full of good fic I haven't read yet! And as is my habit when I read a new fic I like, I go check out what else that author has written. It turns out that one of the new authors I found this way has also made a couple of Hannibal fanvids; both would be extremely relevant to my interests, but one of them has been removed from YouTube for ... copyright reasons? I left a comment on Ao3 for the author, and they're seeing if they can get the video to me another way. Which is good, because that video uses "Song to the Siren" by This Mortal Coil, and HELL YES I NEED A HANNIGRAM VID SET TO THAT SONG.
Ahem.
Their other video uses "Pretty When You Cry" by VAST. Unsettling song + all the unsettling imagery supporting the subtext of Hannibal and Will's relationship? Hi, I am in this fandom and am invested in the Murder Husbands because I like dark and kind of fucked up relationships in fiction.
