In PDX for the Vampire Masquerade Ball, yaaaay! I’m hear with people I adore, and I get to see even more wonderful people over the next few days.

Tonight included a trip to the fangsmith, as I needed new canines, and Declan has been getting fangs from almost every fangsmith on the West Coast.

(Hi, we’d like to introduce you to our cliches.)

This was the first set of fangs I’d had made since starting the Botox treatment for my migraines, and it is as a very different experience; I couldn’t overtense and lock my neck, which was SUCH a nice change.

Tomorrow: brunch with some peeps I haven’t seen in far too long, then Powell’s. Because I need more vampire books, don’t try and talk me out of this. Then elaborate clothes and makeup, and off to the fancy event!

while I am certain "lick my neck" is not even remotely what you meant to say here, I am having a lot of trouble figuring out what you did mean. And incredibly amused at the image of you getting fangs while suddenly developing the anime vampire tongue long enough to lick your own neck. It's ridiculous and awesome at the same time. \
