I had a lovely birthday yesterday, even if the photo for my renewed ID looks ... well, I look like I'm tired, trying to smile, and maybe summon a demon with the power of my mind. The RealHusband and the Infamous BlueJay conspired together to get me the limited-edition slipcased hardback edition of the Crimson Peak novelization, signed by Guillermo del Toro! Hello, I am an unrepentant fangirl.

staxxy. Tomorrow I get a kambriel! Yes, she also sneakily conspired with the RealHusband to arrange a visit, and will be here for about 2 weeks! Seriously, between her visiting and my Dad retiring from his retail hell job, this is shaping up to be one of the best birthdays ever for me.
Now I just need my agent to contact me with glowing praise ...
