Today was the expedition to the Eastside, to scope out craft stores for THREAT LEVEL: PUMPKIN. Holy bats, Michael's has a LOT of stuff I want, but I don't have enough room for.

Allegedly there are pumpkins and things at the local bigbox craft store. (A. C. Moore. I haven't seen it outside of New England.) Halloween, sadly, is treated with snark by many people who live in this area. (That is, either in Salem or across the bridge from it. I'd love to go to the revelries someday.)
