Today's Eldergoth Nostalgia trip with the StuntHusband to the Ave was a lot of fun. Found some cute things in Red Light that I virtuously did not buy. (Tho' if those red velvet Dr. Martens that laced up with red satin ribbon hadn't been a size too big, I would have snapped them up.)

I did buy a black and silver sparkly knitted tank top, because I Had Plans. Which I've accomplished, and the sparkly tank has now been paired with scavenged parts of a black lace high collar blouse, to create a funereal sparkle top. Whee!

Luckily, I know that you are more than one size smaller than I am.

I've got a pair of those red velvet Docs! They start conversations whenever I wear them (which is rarely, but I do love them). :)

i pine for doc martens. PINE, i tell you!

but feet that are small yet wide with a narrow heel do not get doc martens. what they DO get, however, are lovely cowboy boots, bought at the boot store, and picked up 2 days later after they've been sitting on the lovely steamer stretching machines so that fit my fat little feet.

and wonderful inventions called "boot pullers" to get them pulled on! huzzah! (i need to find another pair. distressed brown and classic black are all good, now i need something more sassy.)
