muah-ha-ha-ha!

The Moonday event last night was oodles of fun. It was the first time I had been to the "new" Fenix, and my goodness, is it a nice space. Three levels, wide stairs, a very nice dance floor, lots of little alcoves for conversation and people watching. I'm going to try to go to more events there, oh yes indeed.

The reason I am mad with power is because, well ... you see, I knew that [livejournal.com profile] lady3 and [livejournal.com profile] hereticsaint planned on having me (as Mayor of Fashion City -- hee!) handing out little certificates to people wearing outfits I liked and approved of. I did NOT know that they also had planned on giving me a cordless microphone. One of the punishments the Fashion Police could inflict on wrong-doers was to drag them over to me, at which point the poor creatures had to suffer being carted on stage, lectured by me about whatever fashion crime they had been ticketed for, and then apologizing for their crimes before being allowed to slink away.

(A slight pause while that sinks in, and I cackle maniacally)

So, needless to say, I had a GRAND time. Any club night where I get to play Fashion Dictator is a Good Night for me. All of the Fashion Victims were very good sports about all of it, even the two suburban frat-boy looking types who had wandered into the Fenix on a whim (they were *confused* by it all, oh yes, but good sports).

A big big thank you to [livejournal.com profile] lady3 and [livejournal.com profile] hereticsaint for organizing the whole thing! I'd also like to thank and hug my wonderful friends who agreed to be my "entourage" (hee!): [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre, [livejournal.com profile] balzacq, [livejournal.com profile] morfydd, [livejournal.com profile] attictroll, [livejournal.com profile] domichan, and [livejournal.com profile] dporowski.

Again! Again! Wanna do it again!
