... my lips aren't burgundy or black, and that confuses me. But I think I like it? I think I need a slightly deeper, bluer-toned pink, but it may end up being a color I wear again.

it looks lovely on you...but i agree, something darker may soothe your soul a bit better.

Perhaps outline it with a darker shade and blend the two colors? You'd still have the best of both colors.
