My skin is getting paler.

Which is not a problem, really, except that finding foundation that works for me is already difficult! Seriously, I've been resorting to adding some of Ye Olde Manic Panic Dreamtone white liquid into my BB Cream, and it still oxidizes to darker than my skin tone. The Kat von D Lock-It foundations (in liquid and powder) oxidize just enough to be darker than my face.

I've got a compact of Manic Panic "Creature of the Night" powder foundation that I'm going to try again, but I seem to recall I stopped using it because it was too chalky of a consistency, and just wouldn't blend. I'm pretty sure I've also got a jar of Aromaleigh foundation in 00 (Ghost) that I need to try again.

I know, I know. Go ahead and stamp my goth/vampire card - I'll be over here under a parasol, hissing at the sun.

*sympathetically stamps Goth card*

I'm both pale and have almond undertones because of my ancestry, and finding light foundation that doesn't set off my hypersensitive skin AND matches my skintone is a stone bitch. I don't wear it, as a result (just moisturizer, mineral powder, and a little bit of concealer when I really need it (and even MAC isn't a perfect blend/match), but when I really want foundation for photos or an event, it's a pain.

If I were well enough to spend the amount of time in the sun that I used to, it would be easier (I get more color, and it's a easier-to-match shade), but between needing to stay indoors during Texas death-heat summers, plus not being out and about as much... yeah, I hear you on the difficulty of finding a perfect makeup match :/

Good luck!!

You can't do MAC, can you? MAC Studio Fix N1 might work, if you can find it. I'm not sure they make it anymore.

maybe stop by a sephora and check out this product in ivory - http://www.makeupforever.com/us/en-us/make-up/face/foundation/hd-foundation

and maybe ask them about this liquid white - http://www.makeupforever.com/us/en-us/make-up/artistic/colored-fluids/color-cream

I recommend makeup forever because it is high enough quality it shouldn't set off your skin.

I mix a pale lavender color corrector into my own foundation (when I wear it) to get the right shade of pale.

*gaaaaaaah* seems like the comments wont accept a link (it marked it as Spam), so I'll try again!
Have you tried Jackie Oates from Lush? It's VERY pale (but maybe not pale enough for a Goth Vampire Queen...), and an added bonus is that it doesn't ruin the skin as much as so many other products (I got very annoying skin...)
Maybe worth a shot =)

heh, I feel like I've got the opposite problem! I don't think I'm as pale as I used to be, and it's annoying in its own way. Gotta love when foundation shades that worked fine for years suddenly look naff. GAH.

I have the Aromahleigh 'Ghost' OO also, and if you it works for you and you want more, I'll send it out to you, because I've gotten too dark for it. :(

On the hunt for a new foundation as I am nearly out my discontinued L'Oreal make-up. Pale and works with olive undertones is difficult. Wish you luck in finding the right match!

I see Staxxy already mentioned Makeup Forever. I'd been hanging on and using the MAC Studio Fix powder NC20 after they discontinued the NC10, but started having the same problem with the getting too pale thing. I've now been using the MF pressed powder compact for over a year now. I haven't tried their liquid foundation yet, as I don't wear it often so a bottle lasts me forever, but the powder is fabulous.

Mehron powder in Alabaster (though sometimes if photographs slightly too "dewy" if you use flash and you have to blend well to not get the BLAZING WHITE FACE effect in dark clubs ... still, the best porcilain finish i've ever gotten).

Meow Cosmetics makes all their shades in a variety of color depths, and they make the best match to my skintone that I've found (I'm "Sleek Sphynx"--pink/beige/peach undertones, second to lightest shade).

The one I have is by Max Factor (which they stopped making in the US, but still produce for Europe). The formula's made in Ireland, and I bought it at Boots since I figured the Irish would probably be pretty good at mastering pale shades ~ and indeed they were.

Clearly, this would be easiest to procure on an adventure to Whitby... ;D

Late to this party, but... the closest match to my pale with blue and pink undertones skin I've ever found has been Wet-n-Wild concealer in the lightest shade. Yes, the cheap drugstore stuff in the tube. It goes on smooth, it stays on all day and lasts through Southern-heat-wave sweat awfully well, it covers well, it doesn't break me out, and it comes off with soap and water. I might use a little blush or a slightly pinker or peachier shade of makeup on my cheeks to keep me from looking totally pale, but usually I don't even care about that because I flush so easily. I keep trying other, high-end cosmetics, and I keep coming back to this stuff.
