Wandering out of the bedroom and being presented with the corpse of a spider, while not pleasant, is SO MUCH BETTER THAN A LIVE ONE. Good job, kitties! Keep doing that!

I think the weirdest part of this month of bachlorette life is the sleeping by myself part. I'm used to it for short trips, but it's still odd. And I'm trying to keep myself from getting into the habit of falling asleep with a book in hand and the lights on, because that won't work when Pete is home again.

Hilariously, my social calendar is more full than when Pete is home. I saw LoraxofSex on Sunday, Libby last night, StuntHusband is coming over Wed. evening, Thursday is [livejournal.com profile] theda and the kiddo, Friday is horror movie night, Saturday is THREAT LEVEL: PUMPKIN PART TWO, and Sunday is tea at the Lovely's.

I think next week, I'm going to mostly be a hermit, so I can get some writing done. ::grin::

I always DO ALL THE THINGS when K is away for work. Mostly so I don't just wind up sighing around the house like a soppy drip.

also I don't cook. when K comes home it's all empty pizza boxes a empty bottles of beer and a single bottle of random condiment in the 'fridge. K is the only civilizing factor in my life.

I am glad you are planning in Hermit time, because you really need down time in your schedule. Every day social and full time work Monday to Friday is going likely to send your body into a tailspin.

Yes, I know, dear. But see that schedule for this week? I need a bit of down time. :)

I haven't forgotten you, I promise.
