1. It rained yesterday. Heavy, drenching rain. I stood with the back door open and watched it for a while.
(Heavy drenching rain is not always a good thing, especially not with our semi-finished basement and being built on a reclaimed bog. But after the unpleasant weeks of the burning orb? OMG RAIN YAAAAAAY.)
2. My job. I was specifically headhunted for this job, and my co-workers and managers think I'm a miracle worker. It is really damn nice to be working with people who don't have hidden agendas and are focused on getting the job done with minimum drama and craziness.
3. Kitties! At this very moment, Vlad is curled up on a padded stool, next to my office chair. He will occasionally stretch a paw up and pat my arm to let me know it is time for pettings. Miss Erzabet No Biting reminds me to take breaks by meeping at me until I follow her to a comfy chair and provide her with a lap. Ruthven curls up at my feet when I'm sitting on the couch, or follows me around, trilling.
