YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PROVE THIS BY BRINGING GIANT SPIDERS UP FROM THE BASEMENT.

::shudder::

Proof that the Stroppy One is a truly caring husband: when he is at his D&D game and I text him I need you to come home and deal with the giant spider before Vlad knocks the glass over, he comes home. (Yes, his game is 5 minutes away, but still! He does this for me!)

It ... it was not a small spider. The fact that I was able to get close enough to it to trap it in a glass is a Very Big Deal for me. And then I had to keep an eye on it, because Vlad really REALLY wanted to paw at his toy under glass.

::shudders some more::

So, I'm going to go take anti-anxiety meds, have a bath, and read soothing and familiar vampire fic. (Hi [livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemon, hiiiiiii.)

I am both impressed and proud of you for managing to trap it under the glass. HOLY COW!!! WELL DONE!

also, how is your supply of blood holding out?

So glad that the spider thing worked out as well.

Plus, "also, how is your supply of blood holding out?" is one of the best sentences ever.

Oh, dear! That was a very brave thing you did, Auntie Jilli!

Well, at least Vlad was kind enough to find the spider before it found you? *brrr*

How can you claim to be goth and be scared of spiders? SO SAD.

I actually like them.

Oh, wait, I saw the phobia tag. I'm sorry. I'm not making light of mental health issues. *looks like a jerk on accident* And my Vlad is also a total jerk. Mostly he limits this to biting people's faces.

Also, *heart hands*. If you want some junk, hit me.

Dude, I totally accept the hit to my goth points over my spider phobia, and am self-aware enough to be able to laugh at myself about it. Except when I'm wreck because my giant doofus of a boycat decides to bring live toys upstairs.

Oooh, junk! I will email later today.

Yes, that's a good man! And yes, getting a big spider trapped under a glass is a big deal I can acknowledge -- I am also burdened with arachnophobia, and I often can't get close enough with the vacuum cleaner, at the far end of the hose to take big spiders down with the vacuum, let alone get near enough to trap them. Ughughughgughughggghh.

Cheers for the Stroppy One, and for relaxing baths!
