Last Thursday I flew out to Kansas. Why? Because a brand new con, Figments and Filaments, brought me out as a Guest of Honor.
It was a small con (no surprise, what with it being the first year), but my G-D, it was smoothly-run. The con staff were sweethearts AND competent, and everyone I met was delightful. kambriel's bat pillows. I've already decided that if they want to bring me back out next year, I'll do it.
And now, photos! (Which were all posted to Tumblr earlier, no surprise.)
Tired goth, tired bunny. The night I arrived in Kansas. I had gotten up at 6:30AM Seattle time, which is not an hour I am used to AT ALL.
No, I did not steal a coffee cup from the hotel restaurant. But I was tempted to.

Coffee was not my only friend, but it WAS a very close one.
The clash in contrasts was too epic to pass up!
