jola, weaselmom, the StroppyOne, and all the rest of you who have been exclaiming how well burgundy and red suit me:
Are you people using mind-control rays or something? Because I am OVERCOME with cravings to add more of those colors to my wardrobe. ALL THE BURGUNDY VELVET. IT WILL MATCH MY LIPSTICK. I have burgundy cotton velveteen that has been sitting in the fabric stash for years, and I think it is going to become a skirt in the next week or so, deadlines permitting.
But the pink streaks are staying in my hair, yes.
(Dear Self, it is the time of year to start checking Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshall's to see what fancy fancy burgundy velvet or taffeta tree skirts are out, then turn them into Jilli skirts.)

Pockets? Is there any way to get it to somehow include pockets? But yes, I think that in dark burgundy embossed velvet has just jumped to the top of my "future clothing purchase" list. :)
