We have been catching up on True Blood.

Flashbacks involving Eric in a cravat and top hat, licking blood off his fingers. Hi. Hiiiiiii. Yes pander to my cliched interests, writers. I approve.

What? I said it was shallow commentary, right there in the subject line!

When am I going to see you again?

My husband and I determined we'd rather watch an entire series just about Eric and how he met and turned Pam, because the two of them in that time period are fascinating and wonderful. :D

We've stopped watching True Blood (I couldn't keep anyone else onboard with me after the fairy thing, and I pretty much never watch TV alone), but all of us agree that if someone made the Lafayette and Pam Show, we'd watch it. With Eric, too, as long as he wasn't befuddled by . . . Sookeh ;)

I agree with this 100%. Many of the storylines in "True Blood" are flailing, but Pam's character development and her involvement with Eric would make a great series on its own!

...I might need to find clips of this online as I stopped watching this show a long time ago.

Ohhh, yesss!

Even in the books Eric is more awesome than pretty much all the other vampires.

It is all about Eric. Even my husband agrees with me on this.
