Today had a trip to the zoo with the Stroppy One and our friend Libby. This is what I consider appropriate zoo attire:

• (There, even tho' they're not visible in the photo)Black & ivory striped stockings and calf-high boots by JUMP.


• Ruffled skull skirt, made by me, worn over a black fluffy petticoat.


• Ivory cotton ruffled blouse, a thrift store find.


• Ivory lace waistcoat, also thrift store find. (I added the black buttons and black lace heart.)


• Black lace cravat, silver filigree & skull brooch.


• The usual top hat and enormous silver rings.


• Makeup: SPF 100, a smidge of Aromaleigh's "OO" Glissade powder and Ultra Resolution finishing powder, eyebrows darkened with Aromaleigh "ruthless indulgence", the eyeshadow is MAC "opal" pigment, "velvet vampire" from Fyrinnae, and highlighted with Aromaleigh "star bright", NYX Studio Liner in dark purple (I'm testing to see if it's a replacement for the One True Liquid Liner), and multiple coats of Makeup Forever's "aqua smokey lash".

Tonight, going out dancing with skarrin! There will probably be some silly photos from that, too.

Awww! You look lovely! That outfit looks super comfortable . . . and as usual, very stylish!

Last weekend when I went to the zoo (Metro Toronto Zoo) the only clean thing I could find was a baggy mens Hawaiian shirt . . . :(

Very pretty ensemble of ivory and black. I really like the waistcoat. Hopefully those boots were comfortable for walking the zoo!
