I do not want to be in the office today. I want to go off, have a picnic somewhere, and read a silly vampire novel while sitting under a shady tree. Sadly, this is not likely to happen today.

Since I haven't done 'em in a while:

Shallow Fashion Details!

• black pointy-toe flats w/ zippers across the tops


• black stockings


• red & black stretch brocade mermaid skirt trimmed with black lace


• black stretch velvet princess-seamed dress: knee-length, 3/4 sleeve, ballet neckline, with 5" wide lace trim on the hem


• black semi-sheer scoop-neck top with bell sleeves worn under the dress (to make the neckline more work-appropriate)


• red crystal and velvet faux-Victorian choker


• silver ankh necklace on a long silk ribbon


• hair in two low ponytails under a giant black Edwardian-style hat trimmed with tulle, feathers, and a black velvet bow held on with skull hat pins


• The usual makeup (concealer, powder, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick), but with shimmery pale pink eyeshadow on my eyelids

The giant hat (yaaaay! Spring hat!) will ensure even more confused looks when I go to the cafeteria today. Which is fine, because the cashiers *loooooove* me, and will exclaim happily over it.
