Of Letters From Other Countries! (Turkey and Venezuela, to be specific.)

My beta readers are, as always, fantastic and helpful, and I love them.

Also just like always, if you lovely people could help spread the word about the new post, that would be wonderful. Thank you!

And now, I prepare myself for going to SakuraCon. My panel is at 10PM tonight, whee! I hope to see some of you there.

Aaaw, your Venezuelan correspondent is attracted to snakes and bones! She (I think) should come to my house! (And learn that non-Christians are also nice people. And maybe also that "most" goths are not, in fact, Christians. ;) )

(Not, of course, that there's anything wrong with those who are. I merely speak demographically.)

The correspondent should be informed, if she doesn't already know, that Peter Murphy, the godfather of goth, has lived in Turkey for the past couple of decades. That's exciting!

Also, though I'm speaking as an agnostic theist, I feel strongly that there's absolutely nothing incompatible between the goth subculture and Christianity (or any religion), and I'm very glad that you make that point. Also, without the impact of medieval and baroque religious art from Europe, goth wouldn't have nearly such an interesting aesthetic. ;)
