- The Stroppy One reports that Tzepesh seems to be doing better. He's still not completely better, but we're not AS worried about our big boykitty.

- I am finally getting back to the headspace where I can write Gothic Charm School columns again. I feel a bit guilty for taking as long of a break from the site as I did, but ... well, my life kind of exploded. I think I want to do a write-up of the Vampire Ball, then an advice column. That feels like less of an abrubt transition in my head, some how.

- cass404 is a wonderful person to stay with.

- She also manages to find tumblr feeds that look like what would happen if the ids of the teenaged incarnations of the Infamous BlueJay and me discovered the internet. It is simultaneously fantastic and a little cringe-worthy.

- Friday night is the MCR concert! Eeeeee!

- Last but not least: sparkly pink bathtub. I wants it.

I'm not a huge fan of baths (I know, I'm weird like that -- I prefer giant bubbling hot tubs to normal baths), but I LOVE THAT TUB. I'd make a point of using it. It's like a drag queen tub.

I think the time you have taken is fully justifiable and people will understand.

I think starting out with writing about an event you love and enjoy is a very good idea.

I wonder if it would be at all cathartic to write about dealing with grief and sudden loss - as in what you appreciated from friends and family at this time and what sorts of things you would encourage other Goths to avoid doing... I dunno - just a thought. As usual, I'm finding my experiences with my friends and family in this regard are particularly dysfunctional and cringe worthy...

Terribly amused at the MCR concert news. I have a friend from Hawaii who has flown out here to San Francisco to see them when they come through town (well, Oakland) tomorrow.
