Yes, this jacket was directly by [livejournal.com profile] zombieplaything's artwork. Eventually I will find cotton velveteen in the proper shade of black and add the oversized cuffs. (With pink trim and buttons, of course.)

In other news, while rummaging in my handbag for something, I discovered that I have two different travel-size tubes of glitter eyeliner in there. In different colors. Of course I do.

Wow, you whisked that together fast! When you said you were going to make a jacket based on that lovely art, I assumed it would need to be done from scratch, with multiple sewing-related posts.

Very cute. ^_^

Thank you!

I had the basic sort of jacket sitting upstairs in the Storage Room. (It was originally from the Gap. I have no idea how it ended up in my possession, but I'm guessing a thrift store was involved.)

I do not sew jackets from scratch. Even if the Infamous BlueJay swears she will be able to teach me how to do so.

I think this may be my new favorite of your jackets!

That is a Very Lovely Outfit! I think I love your bosses for letting you dress this way.
PS I'm in accounting. I can sometimes find bosses who don't care, but it isn't as common.

A very becoming jacket indeed!
Seeing how fabulous you look in full Goth attire I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't go for a tad more feminine apparel... On the other hand I've always been at the rather rock-ish, casual end of the Goth spectrum, involving leather bands, heavy boots and buckles. Also, my behaviour is not refined and delicate enough to pass as wholly feminine, I'm afraid.
