How is the quality of Hell Bunny clothing? Because the Victorian Coat calls to me. But I won't bother putting it on a wish list if the garment quality is dodgy.

I have a few Hell Bunny items, not a coat though. They are good quality but I can't see it being very warm?

Hmm, I used to work in a shop where we sold Hellbunny (Denmark though), and I was not impressed with the quality (I do a lot of sewing myself, so....)
Basically, their items often have weird sizes and isn't fitted well enough, often the fabric pattern was not aligned with anything whatsoever, and especially the inner seams have been rushed a lot.
So.... It's cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. Some of their items are better than others, but mainly, as a sewing kind of girl, I was unimpressed.

Now I'm yearning for that coat, too. I go back to London in a couple of weeks, so I'll see if I can find a shop in Camden or Covent Garden that carries Hell Bunny items. If my mission is successful, I'll report back to you.

It's really a beautiful coat you choose! :)

I've got a pretty skirt from this brand and it is a pretty good quality. I don't sew but I always look at the sewings before to buy and I have nothing negative to say about that. I wash it a lot because when I go out, with people who smoke a lot T_T, sometimes clothing need to be washed two times and the fabric never got damaged, neither the sewings :).

I don't own anything of theirs but I live in Camden Town and see a lot of their stuff around. It looks serviceable but I agree with the person who said it probably won't be very warm. Their fabrics aren't terribly rich and I can't see them even lining it very well.

my tuppence...

I bought a Hell Bunny wool coat for winter and I haven't had any issues with it so far. It didn't get much wear and tear chances though because it arrived near the end of winter, but it was comfy and seemed well made.

I think their clothing runs a little small compared to American sizes though, so you might want to order a size up to be safe.

This is what I bought: http://www.the-gothic-shop.co.uk/hell-bunny-tokyo-black-gothic-coat-with-buckles-p-2982.html

The quality can be hit and miss, as can the sizes. I've never seen that particular coat IRL so I cant comment but I've had a few things from Hell Bunny/Death Kitty/Living Dead Souls/Dead Threads which are all on a par, price bracket wise, and they're... ok.

Hootenanny in Cambridge, MA sells that coat. It's a cotton velveteen. It pales in comparison with Lippy's Transvision Velveteen. I'd save my money and buy a Shrine brocade coat which is much much better quality.

I have a Hell Bunny coat, it's super warm and the quality is great. However, I have the more lolita-themed one, so I'm not sure how the two compare. :)
