Sooo, I'm pretty busy at work, I have a sickly Stroppy One, AND I am seriously contemplating culling my closets again. Obviously that's the perfect time to window-shop for more clothes! Clicky-links, let me show you them.

- Stripy Circus Ringleader jacket, by Voodoo Lounge! Made by the fabulous [livejournal.com profile] requieminblack, and I've coveted it for AGES.

- R-Series Serenade High-Waisted skirt, via QutieLand. (A better picture here.) Velvet! Buttons! Buckles! Pointy hem! Gnnng.

- (Looks at Etsy) Dammit, the pink & white striped overbust corset with the black satin trim from Boom Boom Baby Boutique isn't available anymore. As I said before, that corset, worn over a black ruffled skirt and a black high-collared blouse, would be DARLING.

Okay, enough window-shopping for the moment. Back to work for me!

I find culling my closets extremely therapeutic, I feel a lot happier once I've done it! plus as you say it's the perfect excuse to buy more clothes, that I will wear more often :)

Culling you say? Well, time to start saving. Good ting some tax money will be coming in soon and I can use that.

Ohhhh, that buckled skirt is ever so pretty! I want it!

Closet-culling here, too -- the fifteen-year-old daughter of some friends recently got ALL MY PANNE VELVET. It was time. She's ecstatic. I find that I'm replacing things I got rid of with their more modern, more-me-now equivalents: Big bad black dresses? Replaced with aggressive, architectural cocktail dresses. Motorcycle jacket four sizes too big? Replaced with sexy, slinky little moto jacket.

Piss, clare should be emailing you back this week, she had a computer issue that killed her getting back to emails other then using her phone. But its fixed now.

You realise I end up taking notes when you do these posts?

The second link is just giving me wee broken boxes and "mysql" warnings. The second link inside the second link gives me "permission denied". Your description alone is making me eye my sewing machine with ill intent.

I actually had in mind a similar corset but with black and white stripes and pink trim. Go figure. The top can be replicated easily, and with the stripes all going in the same direction!

Argh, the Qutieland links don't work? I'll show you the next time you come over. I think you'd really like that skirt. No ruffles! Just pointy hems, buckles, and buttons.

That Circus Ringleader Jacket is DIVINE!!!

I have that R-Series skirt, and I looove it, though the buckles are a bit clangy.

I basically love Qtie land. They have great service.

That Jacket is darling. It makes me want to buy a men's version of the wider striped jacket that Kambriel made for Amanda Palmer. That thing was gorgeous too.

Although this one has a much more feminine charm to it in comparison, but that is wholly by design.
