Hmm. Brain turned to mush with work. Time for another post of Shallow Fashion Details!
(Really, unless you're interested in gothy clothes talk, you should probably just skip this post.)
Even though I've felt a bit sickly the past few days, I am by god going out to the Vogue tonight. Which means going-out-clothes dithering.
I don't think I'm up to a corset tonight, which automatically eliminates about half of my club-going outfits. I'm currently leaning towards a Big Black Skirt TM and my new batwing hem dress in black/red sparkle stretch velvet, worn with the hugely ruffly black lace bell-sleeves and a Really Big Hat. Of course, I still need to try all this on and see if it looks as good in real life as it does in my head.

- Black pointy-toe Fluevog flats w/ giant silver buckles
- Black tights
- Black stretch velvet skirt: a straight, ankle-length skirt that I customized with 4 ruffle-covered gores that run from the knees to the hem
- White faux-Victorian blouse w/ lace-ruffled cuffs & cravat
- Black velvet shawl-collared frock coat w/ frog closures
- Hair in two low pigtails held w/ pink & black skull-and-crossbones ties
- Black top hat w/ oodles of black feathers
- Antiqued bronze bat brooch on the cravat
- And the usual make-up, but I actually bothered to put in my contacts this AM.

It's a good thing I love wearing corsets because I don't want to be seen out of one unless I'm in (icky face here) butch mode.
