I'm far less tired than I was yesterday, but my brain still feels like it has been wrapped in Jello-soaked cotton batting. I am assuming that a second pot of tea and a chocolate donut will help. (One of the writers brought in donuts, yay! This saves me from deciding if I really wanted to walk over to the Commons and get a cupcake.)

I'm kind of amazed that I'm less tired than yesterday, as my dreams last night were ... wacky. The one I really remember involved a lot of us being at a semi-fancy goth event, and me trying to avoid talking to a particular person who was also there. Thanks subconscious, that's very subtle I DON'T think.

The dream also involved [livejournal.com profile] pocketbearwa and I being cranky that the bar had nothing but beer, and [livejournal.com profile] mskoi throwing an arm around my shoulders and cheerfully offering to commit violence upon someone to entertain me. After she made this offer, she and [livejournal.com profile] morthael started enthusiastically comparing techniques for cracking skulls. And then the sirens went off, my old boss from WotC walked up and started handing out pulse rifles, because the Aliens were attacking.

Look, I don't understand it either, don't ask me to explain it. At least it wasn't another zombie apocalypse stress dream?

I find it vastly reassuring that I am not the only person who has zombie apocalypse stress dreams.

I somewhat enjoy this dream. Save the other person, of course - but that's why Morthael and MsKoi are there, after all.

Me? Pulse rifle? Vs Xenomorphs? Sure thing!

You were very enthusiastic about the pulse rifle, but also told Kyle he was bonkers for handing me one. "Remember what happened LAST time?" you exclaimed.

Oh come on. You have far more effective, and elegant, methods than that.

I am glad to hear you have a new version of the Aliens attacking dream, although the first bit of the dream can be lost in the shuffle henceforth, and the being dressed up fancy and violence for entertainment being the part that is kept.

I am sorry to bother you but I need your help!
I just won a movie ticket to the premier of Alice in Wonderland this FRIDAY and I need an idea for a costume for the white rabbit.
What, besides the ears, would you say is the msot important part of the costume that you just can not leave out. Thanks!

I'll jump in here, since I just was the White Rabbit with Jilli: a watch of some sort, preferably a LARGE pocketwatch on a chain.

(This almost requires a waistcoat to attach it to, and then top hat, gloves, and pince-nez glasses...but those are all optional, not required. :)

I'd almost insist on a timepiece of some sort, or the whole "I'm Late!" thing doesn't work.

Thank you!
Yes I Saw your pic with her and thought you looked brilliant!!
I will try to find some gloves, I 'll make a pocket watch and the glasses is a great idea too. The rest seems easy.
Thanks for the tips!

Yes, my dear StuntHusband is spot on. A pocket watch is the absolutely key thing to have (in addition to ears). Have fun at the premier!

Thanks very much the two of you. I will have a great time, I am sure!
