So I DON'T have an interview today. My recruiter was just informed that the position is actually part-time, which means it's not worth it for me. If I got the position, it would mean I would be shooting myself in the foot for any longer-term contract position that came along, not to mention that the pay rate + part-time = not financially worth it.

I am disappointed, yes. This is part of why I hate job-hunting. Anyone have any leads on job openings for a technical editor?

So I am in need of a bit of cheering. What's going on with all of you? Good things? Tell me about them? Or send pretty boys in eyeliner. Or both.

I think today I will sooth myself with some writing, some skirt sewing, and bombastic rock music played at a loud volume.

My aunt and uncle are taking me out to see the movie "The young Victoria" . . . from the adds I saw of it the costumes look FANTASTIC!

I found the strainer for my gals tea pot. Yaaay!

It is starting to snow again after approximately a week of warm snow melting weather, yaaaay! because the warm weather in January in Southern Ontario. Plus, it was getting a bit to sunny.

I am enjoying a nice cup of Japanese cherry green tea!

Bleah - sorry to hear it! Ambrose has been trying to find a technical writer position for over a year now. I suspect age discrimination is coming into play - but it's pretty impossible to proof.

It should quite be! the video shoot was made of epic win, included breaking and entering - WITH A SWORD! - and these people are all very nice. I don't mind sacrificing my sleep for them :)
