There is a traveling exhibition of art, props, and costumes from the upcoming Alice In Wonderland movie by Tim Burton. You needed to know where to go to line up and ask for a key in order to go see it, and by the time I had heard about it, it was long past the time they were giving out keys. But we had the address of where the exhibit was supposed to be, so after dinner, my charming dining companions indulged me, and we wandered past.
At the location, why yes, a giant poster for the movie. And a line of people holding cards with little keys attached. I asked the gentleman at the end of the line if they were still giving out keys. No, they weren't. Much dejection on my part ...
At which point the gentleman said "Do you really want to see it? Here." And handed me the key he was holding.
Yes, we took photos of the exhibit, and I'll post them when I get home. Good heavens, the eye candy.
So thank you, random kind stranger! You made my evening!
