the hat is darling, BUT:

a) you don't actually wear that much red in your wardrobe, and when you *do* wear read it usually replaces pink as the accent color.

b) the reds you wear are not in this shade, and the pink looks a bit too warm.

$189 is a bit much to drop on something that you aren't going to be terribly happy with in the end, or really find occasion to *wear*.

I'm sorry that we didn't get to spend more time exploring, having been effectively under house arrest until Sunday night.

I assure you that May and mid-September through mid-October in NYC are lovely. IT is not always like walking around in an especially smelly sauna.
