I am going to try and not buy any new clothes until after Christmas.

(Waits for the assorted people reading to recover from the shock)

There are some loopholes to this statement, of course. There are 3 stretch velvet dresses that I've been planning on that I'm going to have Jay make; those aren't included in that statement. I'm still going to go rummage through the thrift stores (tho' not as often), but unless I find the absolutely perfect item or jaw-droppingly amazing find, I'm not planning on buying anything.

Why? Because I just got done sorting through my blouses (just my blouses!), and I'm a little freaked out by the amount of clothes I own. Yeah, my wardrobe IS my hobby, but even so, I own a LOT of clothes. (In fact, I may try another round of closet purging again, because there are still items that, while I like, I never wear.)

So yeah. Unless something is so spectacular that I would be a fool to pass it up, I'm going to try and not buy any clothes until after Christmas. And I'm stating this publicly in my journal so I'll (hopefully) stick with it.

You have no need for Victorian-esque CorpGoth blazers, do you?

I could find a use for them, but I'd better try them on first because they might not fit me through the shoulders.

So I should post pictures & descriptions of anything I'm looking to sell *here*, before the SeaGoth board or eBay?

Truly amazing >g<

I bet your online goth crowd would appreciate getting first shot at some of the cool stuff, plus you wouldn't have all the eBay headaches. Good luck!

Best,
Chris

Hee! That was the whole point of the username. When I first started on LJ, it was an experiment to see how long it took people I knew to find me. :)
