... Of course, what I really want to do today is lounge around and re-read a bunch of books by greygirlbeast. The problems with this clever plan are as follows:

Thing the First: the tidying and reorganizing of the library needs to be done RIGHT NOW.

Thing the Second: greygirlbeast's writing is an automatic ticket to not sleeping, staring at the shadows around me, waiting for horrible creepy things to manifest. Don't take that the wrong way! I think Caitlin is one of the best writers out there right now, and I love her work. But she is one of the few writers who can rummage around in my hind-brain and effortlessly conjure feelings of creeping dread and terror. So maybe I'll re-read a couple of her novels later in the week, when I don't have as pressing a need to be well-rested.
