Shallow Fashion Details!
I was also carrying around a giant black parasol to ward off The Orb as I walked home from the thrift store.
Of course, now I need to decide what the heck to wear to Dark Requiem at the Vogue tonight. Time to rummage through skirts and corsets.
- black cotton brocade flats
- ankle-length black stretch velvet straight skirt w/ 2 tiers of lace ruffles at the hem
- black rayon & velvet "witchy" dress
- giant black sun hat w/ bat chiffon bow (trimmed w/ a rhinestone circle pin & pearlescent acrylic bird skull, and kept on my head with the help of skull-topped hat pins)
- black lace choker w/ black shimmery beads and a small silver ankh
- sunblock, concealer, translucent powder, liquid eyeliner, mascara, and NARS "scarlet empress" lipstick

I so want it to be time for autumn clothes, and I guess for you it's time for autumn clothes ALL THE TIME! Remind me of this craving next March when all I want to wear is pink floral cotton dresses, 'kay?
What a GREAT name for a lipstick, too ... I think it's telling that all I'm wearing now is a tinted lip balm called "Darling."
