I'm feeling better (well enough to go to a low-key social thing tonight), but I'm still easily tired. BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE I'M IN A DEADLINE CRUNCH. Ahahahahaha.

What I'd rather be doing: working on a specific clothing alteration project (adding lace gores to a narrow maxi dress), working on draft 3 of the fiction project, or hand-writing draft 0 of the other fiction project. Or idly thinking about attempting my own version of a patchwork skirt like my darling girl kambriel makes, because goodness knows I've got enough fabric scraps to make one.

But no. Work deadline ahoy! At least my developers and project managers are being good about getting back to me quickly.

So how are you folks doing? Talk to me, I need small, gentle distractions while I wait for content updates.

I'm contacting people for Season 2 of A Dame Walks Into My Office podcast.

I'm painting 5 works for Norwescon's Art Show (wait list, alas) but that confronts my horrors from Afghanistan.

I'm creating a couple armored suits for cosplaying.

I have 4 cases at the moment, with 2 more possibly in the near future. All due by the end of the month.

Finally -and most important- the Red Pandas are off exhibit until Spring in hopes they mate!

...once the podcasting, painting, and cosplay builds are done I will start on the novel. So I'm not too stretched thin.

We are still getting to know the new fuzzies. Jasper is curled up asleep on me, with occasional exuberant stretching so I have to gently remove his toes from my mouth, nostril, etc.

I actually thought of us doing that together at some point while I was there, but we never ventured up to the scrap room o'doom... I've been in the mood lately to do some of those too ~ but like you, have some other more pressing things to take care of first.

Let's see: got boy right now, should have interesting hair in three hours, discovered a new Korean place with Funny Lady, naughty date with the Tickler, art museum date with Much Younger Woman, coffee date tomorrow with the Norwegian about which I am really psyched. In other words, I'm doing OK.

It's a pity I can't make it to Ceremony tonight, if that's what you're talking about. I'm starting to get a Jilli jones.
