I've been having an itch to dig my old Vertigo tarot out and use it for the daily card draw practice. Which is fine, except mine is one of the original printings that did not hold up to usage very well, so the edges are all frayed.

Watch, I'll get back into using that deck and need to track down one of the (still hard-to-find) reprints that used sturdier card stock.

. . . I remember that deck being really snarky when I read with it. Not mean, but very much the "Oh my G-D, do you need this spelled out for you? Should I get the clue-by-four?" sort of tone.

My Arthurian deck is like that. not snarky so much as really firm and blunt. And full of clue-by-fours.

My oz deck is a bit extra vague, on the other hand.

and my Alice in Wonderland deck is a bit loopy.
