To celebrate, we went to see Wicked at the Paramount. (Hey, when the touring production sets up in Seattle over our anniversary, of COURSE we're going to go.)

The burgundy velvet coat I'm wearing in this photo was made 15 years ago, by the long-since-vanished Raevyn Designs, as part of my wedding outfit.

are you aware that the Addam's Family touring company is at the 5th Ave? I didn't until I looked it up yesterday. Far too late to get in to see it this year. I missed BOTH the shows I wanted to see. *pout*

But you look lovely, and I am certain you both had a marvelous time. :)

Oh, I knew all about the Addam's Family show, and refused to go see it. I bought the soundtrack a few years ago completely unheard (because hello, Addam's Family!), and the music is ... not that great. And the plotline! Aaaaugh! Wednesday is 18-ish, has fallen in love with a completely normal boy, and when she invites him and his family over for dinner she BEGS her parents to try and act like normal people for the evening. There's also a plotline of Morticia feeling old and doubting that Gomez loves her.

It all resolves in the end, but the plot is SO far away from what I would consider appropriate for the Addam's Family that I lost all interest in seeing it.

ew, I had not heard much about the plot, or at the very least totally forgot about it. that is really... disappointing.

you look wonderful, I adore you in reds and burgundys by the way and will tirelessly lavish you with complements whenever i see you wear them! I know pink is your thing, but that entire red color family brings out wonderful things in your skintone. I beleive your beloved husband agrees w me :)

Hee! Thank you. Yes, the StroppyOne feels exactly the same way about me in red and burgundy. And I am working more of those colors back into my wardrobe. I have some dark burgundy velveteen that needs to become a skirt soon ...

1. That coat is to-die-for...oh...lovely
2. Happy Anniversary!!!
3. I completely agree with Jola - although pink is your signature, the reds are really WOW, luckily with fall here you can work more red in...because I associate pink more with spring & summer...red more with winter & fall.
